Masters Certification Program (MCERT)
for Elementary & Secondary Education
Current Students: Graduation Requirements
1. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above for 42 (30 for IMCP) total program credits
2. Passing all three sections of Praxis I, & Praxis II, both content and pedagogy
3. Successful completion of Portfolio (= MCERT Comprehensive Exam)
4. Successful completion of EDCI 698 and Submission of Action/Seminar Research paper
5. Successful completion of MCERT internship, and satisfactory performance on final PBA
6. Apply for Graduation and submit Master’s Approved Form by deadlines
7. Payment of final Summer Session I tuition (2 course = 6 credits x $444 = $2664.00; subject to change) and any other outstanding charges to UMCP
8. Fulfillment of all provisions/prerequisites required in the terms of your initial offer of Admission to UMCP/MCERT
