The Department of Curriculum and Instruction is one of six departments within the College of Education. It is composed of nine interrelated program areas which span the following educational disciplines: Art Education, Elementary Education, English, Literacy, Speech Communication and Theatre Education, Mathematics Education, Music Education, Reading Education, Science Education, Second language/TESOL, Social Studies Education, and Professional Development/Teacher Education.
