Program Description:
The English/English Education program is intended for students seeking
certification to teach English in grades 7-12. The curriculum includes
a variety of courses that are designed to provide students with
the content that they will need to teach English - including speech,
literature, linguistics, and grammar. Completion of the English
and professional education courses and field experiences results
in the awarding of a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a double
major in English Education and English with a concentration in British
and American Literature.
