Development of maltreated, foster, prenatally drug-exposed, and other children at-risk; prevention science and program evaluation; the effects of early intervention programs such as Early Head Start and home visitation

The evaluation of a family and school-based intervention for aggressive preschoolers; young child behavior problems; parenting in high-risk families; teacher-child relationships; and language/literacy in high-risk children
