Human development Professors Fox and Bolger play leading roles in the University's new fMRI imaging center, 07/13/09
The University of Maryland recently was awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation to develop a functional Magnetic Resonance Brain Imaging (fMRI) Center on campus. This Center will provide the equipment and staff to do state of the art brain imaging research in areas such as social and emotional development, language development, and other topics in biology, psychology, and linguistics. Professor Nathan Fox is the Principal Investigator for the project, and Professor Donald J. Bolger is a co-Principal Investigator. The Center will establish the university as one of the leading institutions for research on links between brain activity and different aspects of human development.
