James Greenberg
James Greenberg - Director

Jim Greenberg has been a faculty member and administrator
at the University of Maryland for 30 years. He has worked
extensively in the area of school-university collaboration in
teacher education, and he is also Director of the University
Center for Teaching Excellence. Jim has recently served as a
Senior Fellow at the National Center for Urban Partnerships and
Visiting Fellow at the University of Pretoria in South Africa.
He is the recipient of the College of Education’s 1997 Vernon
Anderson Distinguished Faculty Award from the College of
Education.



Zina Sutch
Zina Sutch

After receiving her bachelor’s degree in business and economics
at Clark University, Zina received her masters degree in Special
Education with a concentration in the study of adolescents with
emotional and behaviors disorders at the George Washington University.
Currently, Zina is finishing her Ph.D. in Special Education at the
University of Maryland in College Park. Her work experiences include
teaching both regular and special education classes in public and
non-public school settings, an assistant principal position, an
educational director position and principal position at non-public
special education schools in both Prince George’s County and Anne
Arundel County. In addition to working at the K-16 Center at The
University of Maryland, Zina teaches at Bowie State University and
University of Baltimore in the departments of Special Education and
Psychology respectively.



Stacey Bass
Stacey Bass

Stacey graduated from UMCP in 2000 with a degree in English
Literature, and she is currently pursuing her Masters degree
in Education Policy. In addition to working at the K-16 Center,
Stacey is an instructor for EDCI 498, a course that orients
undergraduate teaching assistants with their new roles as campus
teachers.
