Current Activities at the Center.
During each academic year, Center universities are engaged in a variety of instructional and research activities:
- Doctoral courses in Foundations of Mathematics Education are offered on a regular schedule.
- Informal topical seminars for faculty and graduate students are offered throughout the academic year.
- Faculty and graduate students gather each year in early summer for an internal research conference to collaborate on formulation and development of individual and group research projects.
- Policy conferences related to issues in mathematics education are often held on or near Center campuses.
- Individual faculty and doctoral fellows work on a variety of research and development projects directly related to the Center's agenda and on other questions in mathematics education.
Many of the seminars and research meetings are open to professional visitors.
