Directions to the University of Maryland and the Benjamin Building
The Office of Student Services is located in room 1204 in the Benjamin Building. You can reach our office at 301.405.2364 Monday through Fridays from 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM. Below you will find directions to the University and to the Benjamin Building.
From Baltimore and Points North
1. Take I-95 South to the Capital Beltway (I-495)
2. Take Exit 27 and then follow signs to Exit 25, "U.S. 1 South, College Park"
3. Proceed approximately two miles on U.S. Route 1 South
4. Turn right onto Campus Drive (See Directions to Parking Lot below)
From Bowie, Annapolis, and Points South, Via U.S. 50 West
1. Take U.S. 50 West to the Capital Beltway (I-495)
2. Go North on I-95/I-495 toward Baltimore
3. Take Exit 23 "201 Kenilworth Avenue Bladensburg Greenbelt"
4. Proceed South on 201 in the direction of "Greenbelt Road and Bladensburg"
5. At 3rd light, turn right onto Paint Branch Parkway
6. Paint Branch Pkwy will end at the main campus entrance and becomes Campus Drive (See Directions to Parking Lot below)
From Montgomery County, Via Capital Beltway (I-495)
1. Take I-270 South to Capital Beltway (I-495)
2. Go East on I-495 toward "Baltimore"
3. Take Exit 25, "U.S. 1 South, College Park"
4. Proceed approximately two miles on U.S. Route 1 South
5. Turn right onto Campus Drive (See Directions to Parking Lot below)
Directions to Union Lane Parking Lot from Main Campus Entrance
1. Proceed up Campus Drive from the Main Entrance
2. Go around the traffic circle with the big “M” and continue on up Campus Drive
3. Make a right at the third stop sign onto Union Lane
4. The Union Lane Garage will be on the left side
5. Once you come out of the Garage to Campus Drive, the Benjamin Bldg will be on your right side in front Cole Student Activities Bldg.
