Eileen Drusjack joined the University of Maryland in 2013 as project coordinator for the LessonSketch Research and Development Fellows (LR+D Fellows) Project. That project wrapped up in July 2020.
Eileen is currently working in a support position for two projects. The first is Noticing Observable Ways of thinking, Interacting, and Creating for Equitable Instruction (NOTICE). The second project is Sphero.Math: a computational thinking-enhanced 4th-grade math curriculum using the Sphero robot.
Prior to joining UMD, Eileen worked as an Elementary Educator in North Texas public schools for thirty years. During that time, she served as a classroom teacher, campus computer trainer, elementary mathematics instructional support teacher, curriculum writer, and professional development presenter, as well as a member of countless committees. Eileen also holds a B.A. in Psychology, an M.Ed. in Elementary Education with a specialization in Early Childhood, and an M.Ed. in Educational Administration.
