On the latest episode of Student Affairs Now, Associate Professor Bridget Turner Kelly discusses the importance of intergroup dialogue on college campuses. For most students, a college campus serves as the first environment where they are exposed to drastically different social and cultural backgrounds, explains Kelly.
She adds: “A lot of institutions are looking for ways to have people talk across…different social identities particularly during a time where, as a society, we have options to listen only to people who think [as] we do.”
