We love working with school, district, and community partners to design custom solutions to your education professional learning needs.
If you are interested in bringing one of these professional learning opportunities to your school, district, or community, or in working with UMD College of Education faculty to design custom programming to meet the professional learning needs of your faculty and staff, please reach out to Elizabeth Gotwalt egotwalt@umd.edu
Looking for custom program inspiration? We invite you to begin by exploring the programs we are currently offering (above), as well as the programs listed at the bottom of this page in The Archive. We hope this gives you a sense of the work that we've done in the past and that we're currently doing, in order to inspire work in the future.
This site is maintained by the EdTerps Learning Academy.
The EdTerps Learning Academy (ETLA) supports graduate and professional learning opportunities for working educators at the UMD College of Education. The learners served by this office are almost entirely practicing education professionals seeking part‑time programs at the University of Maryland in the College of Education to pursue initial licensure, continuing education credits, or professional learning hours for recertification.
The EdTerps Learning Academy designs customized programming for this population, including offerings developed in partnership with local school districts. We provide exceptional customer service to both students and faculty, enabling them to focus on learning, teaching, and leading in Maryland schools.
For questions about this or any of our other work, you may contact the EdTerps Learning Academy at: EdTerpsLearningAcademy@umd.edu
Programs and experiences listed in the The Archive are not currently enrolling.
If you are interested in scheduling a custom professional learning experience for your school or district, we invite you to explore not only the programs we are currently offering (above), but the programs listed here in The Archive. We hope this gives you a sense of the work that we've done in the past, and inspires work in the future.
