Prospective Students

Tuition & Fees

Investing in your education is one of the most important decisions you can make for your future. The University of Maryland is committed to making higher education accessible and affordable, and the College of Education  dedicated to providing our students with a high quality education.

We recognize that the cost of college may be a significant consideration in your decision-making process. While reviewing tuition and fees, keep in mind that the actual cost of attendance may be less than you expect once financial aid is taken into account. This includes grants, scholarships, loans, assistantships and work-study programs that you may receive. Nearly 70% of UMD freshmen receive some form of financial aid, and some graduate programs fully fund admitted students.
