The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (P.B.C.) in Dual Language Education (DLE) prepares educators to teach and lead DLE programs in PK-12 schools, including bilingual and language immersion programs. As DLE programs continue to expand both nationally and locally, there is a growing need for educators to obtain additional credentials that address specific instructional needs of DLE educators.
Earn a post-baccalaureate certificate in just one year with a 15-credit program designed specifically for literacy educators and coaches of all grade levels.This program focuses on practical application through classroom inquiry and teacher professional development strategies. Students will build leadership capacity to foster collaboration and continuous learning in their school community. Courses are structured to align with participants' teaching schedules and credits (up to 12) can be transferred toward the college's M.Ed. in Reading Specialist Program.
