Beatrice Hammett, MA, CHES®

 

Beatrice Hammett (she/her) is a graduate of the University of Maryland and earned her MA in Higher Education.  She currently serves as the Project Coordinator and Technical Assistance Specialist for TerpsEXCEED. Beatrice assists with managing day-to-day operations, TPSID Data Entry, and building relationships with university partners, state agencies, and other postsecondary institutions. Before joining the TerpsEXCEED team, she was a Student Accessibility Coordinator at Georgetown University Law Center and an Intake Specialist with the Division of Rehabilitation Services Pre-Employment Transition Services Intake Unit at the Center for Transition and Career Innovation at the University of Maryland. Beatrice earned her B.S. in Community Health, with special focus on Disability Studies and Professional Writing, and her M.A. in Higher Education from the University of Maryland. She has found her passion for inclusive higher education programs and ensuring equitable access to post-secondary education by working as a Social Lead peer mentor with the TerpsEXCEED program in its pilot year.
