Jorinna received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2003. Jorinna began working in Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) and returned to UMCP to complete her master's degree in 2005. She earned her M.Ed in School Counseling in 2007 and is starting her 17th year as a school counselor in MCPS. In addition to working as a school counselor and faculty, she is also a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a board approved LCPC supervisor who has experience working in private practice with adolescents and adults. Jorinna has served as an adjunct faculty with the CHSE for the last three years prior to starting as a faculty member.
