Rachel is a very proud Terp, which works out well because as of Fall 2021, her main focus is College of Education (COE) Alumni engagement, as the Assistant Director of Alumni Relations. She manages the College of Education Alumni Network Board whose goal is to enagege and support COE graduates. Rachel is responsible for building relationships with COE alumni, advocates, and supporters. Rachel graduated from UMD with her B.A. in Anthropology and History in 2007 and then completed her M.Ed. in Student Affairs in 2009 from Penn State. Prior to joining the College of Education, Rachel worked for six years as the Coordinator of Events with UMD Enrollment Management and prior to that she worked as the Event Manger at Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake. Rachel is also active in the Baltimore Alumni Network and raising two very young future Terps at home.
