Sarah is a program administrative specialist in the Dean's Business office. Her duties include:
- Procurement and records management
- Ordering supplies, catering, books, and other requested materials
- Inventory for office supplies and equipment
- Parking Coordinator for multiple College Departments
- Processing invoices, requisitions, purchase orders, reimbursements, disbursement vouchers, and fund transfers
- Processes travel requests, expense reimbursements, and mileage reimbursements
- Biweekly paycheck distribution to all College units
- Event coordinating (including receptions, conferences, picnics, and holiday parties)
- Member of the Staff Affairs Committee (Chair 2020 - 2021)
- Non-Exempt Staff Senator for the College of Education Senate (2021 - present)
- Miscellaneous tasks as needed
Sarah has an Associate of Arts degree in criminal justice from Howard Community College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Maryland College Park, and a Master of Science degree in emergency management from the University of Maryland Global Campus with a 4.0 cumulative GPA.
