On February 7, the COE community gathered at the Benjamin Building to welcome back Abbott Elementary for its season three premiere. In an interview with the Diamondback, Kimberly Griffin, dean of the college of education, and Jahaira Dixon, program management specialist for Terrapin Teachers, share the importance of the Emmy-winning television series and praised its honest depiction of America’s education system.
“One of the things I appreciate about this show is that it always gives you a glimpse into real issues that we’re still struggling with and thinking through as educators,” said Griffin.
