Professional Development Opportunity for Teachers: Crime Scenes in the Classroom

COLLEGE PARK, MD (March, 2013) – The University of Maryland is pleased to offer a unique opportunity for middle- and high-school science teachers. Join us on campus for 30 hours of instruction in forensic science with hands-on activities in the University’s Crime Laboratory. In addition to instruction, the workshop will offer:

  • Top-notch speakers from the field
  • Experts on careers in forensics and study options for students
  • Displays of textbooks and other materials for the classroom
