COLLEGE PARK, MD (March, 2014) The College of Education is once again home to the number one program in the country for Counseling and Personnel Services. This is the fifteenth consecutive year that the program has received this distinction. Also this year, the Elementary Education program advanced in the rankings becoming a top program at #16.
The programs in Higher Education and Special Education also received top marks, both ranking eleventh in their respective categories.
These rankings reflect the work of our graduate faculty and our students. They strive for excellence in everything they do, and their efforts are not going unnoticed by our peers. We have much to be proud of at the College, said Donna Wiseman, Dean.
The College of Education continues to be ranked as one of the top schools of education in the region and among the top in the nation and improved its ranking from last year. The College is ranked 26th overall for 2015.
