Hex of Turtle Islands Game Awarded First Prize

Dr. Diane Jass Ketelhut and Dr. Tony Pellicone of the College of Education won first place for “Games in Design” at the 9th International Educational Games Competition. Their game, Hex of Turtle Islands, is focused on engaging underrepresented youth in cybersecurity. The design team also includes Dr. David Weintrop, also of the College of Education, Dr. Michel Cukier of the School of Engineering, and Dr. Jan Plane of the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences.  Congratulations to the Team!
