College of Education graduation ceremony set for Dec. 20, 2009

University commencement ceremonies to be held Dec. 19 at Comcast Center

COLLEGE PARK, MD (December 2009) – On behalf of the College of Education faculty and staff, Dean Donna L. Wiseman will preside over the upcoming fall graduation ceremony set for 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, in the Cole (Field House) Student Activities Building.

Approximately 280 students will graduate from the College of Education with degrees or certifications from one of the seven departments within the college. They will join the ranks of the college's distinguished alumni comprised of educators, entrepreneurs, administrators, counselors and professionals. As of November 23, the breakdown for the fall 2009 degree candidates is 267 graduate students, 10 undergraduate students, and five Advanced Graduate Specialist students. Tickets are not required for the college's graduation ceremony.
