COLLEGE PARK, MD (November, 2013) Educational Technology Services (ETS) would like to remind the College of our iPad Pilot Project. The purpose of this project is to investigate how iPads can be used in the classroom to enhance teaching and learning in innovative ways, as well as the feasibility of providing personal mobile devices in a check-out model. It is open to all College of Education faculty, staff, and graduate students with departmental authorization.
ETS is still accepting requests to participate in the pilot project and plans to continue at least through this semester. As a pilot, you will be required to provide your feedback through usage surveys while the iPad is in your possession to help us assess the project. The terms and conditions of use are similar to other resources we loan out. Please contact our desk manager, Joe Robertson (jcrobert@umd.edu) if you would like to get more information.
