Undergraduate Programs: Secondary School [ 7-12 ]

CfME Undergraduate Programs

The Secondary Education program is intended for students seeking certification to teach grades 7-12. Undergraduate students who realize that teaching is their goal early may pursue the four-year double major program. With this program, students complete a mathematics major (with additional coursework needed for certification), and education courses, including the year-long internship in their senior year. Upon graduation students receive a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a double major in Mathematics Education (double degree if fulfilled 150 credits) plus eligibility for certification from the State of Maryland.
