Learning Technology Specialist

Rosalia is the Learning Technology Specialist for the College of Education and is a member of the Educational Technology Services - ETS team. She is responsible for faculty training and provides direct assistance with integrating technology for teaching and learning. In addition, Rosalia serves as an in-house consultant to faculty with recommendations and help with online instructional design and evaluation of online resources.

Enterprise tools include:
Learning Management System (Canvas), Video conferencing (Zoom and Google Meet), Classroom Monitoring Tool (LAN School), Classroom Polling (Clickers), and Lecture Capturing (Panopto). 


Rosalia attained her Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and her Master's in Education degree from Temple University. With a comprehensive education background spanning over 30 years, she commenced her career by instructing high school science and mathematics in the Philadelphia public schools. During the mid-1990s, Rosalia developed a deep fascination with integrating technology in the classroom and its potential to facilitate student learning and enhance accessibility. She has since provided extensive training to numerous faculty members on the delivery of online courses in higher education and actively participates in college and campus committees focused on addressing issues related to learning technology.
