Meet the Author, Dr. Monifa McKnight
Dr. Monifa McKnight is a distinguished educational leader with more than 25 years of experience in school administration and instructional leadership. A University of Maryland alumna and the first Black female superintendent of Montgomery County Public Schools, Dr. McKnight is known for her commitment to authentic leadership, continuous improvement, and educational excellence. In Full Flight, she shares lessons shaped by her journey as a Black woman leading in education.
