Note for International Applicants: If the program deadline is before the OIS deadline of February 1st, please note that ALL applications from international students must be received by the Office of International Services deadline of December 3rd. International applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible to avoid processing delays. Please note the special deadlines and additional criteria for International Application: http://www.international.umd.edu/ies/91.

Make sure that all of your application materials have been submitted prior to the program deadlines of December 3rd.

Note: Applications are not reviewed until they are complete. The deadlines refer to complete application packets. Since it takes time to compile the various components of an application package, it is to the applicant's advantage to apply well before the published deadline. This is especially true if the applicant intends to be considered for a fellowship, assistantship, or other form of financial aid.
