

UMD-PSU Graduate Research Mini-Conference 2020

On Friday, February 21, the Measurement, Statistics & Evaluations program in the Department of Human Development and Quantitative Methodology hosted the 2nd annual UMD-PSU Graduate Research Mini-Conference with faculty and students from the quantitative methods group in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University. Thematically, the mini-conference highlighted research from 8 doctoral students across the two methods programs in the area of longitudinal methods. Dr. Nilam Ram of PSU also gave a keynote address on Screenomics, a technology platform, analysis process, and data repository that maps individuals’ media use via detailed moment-by-moment capture of their smartphone screens.
