COLLEGE PARK, MD (March, 2017) – Educational Technology Services (ETS) is pleased to welcome a new Graduate Assistant to help out with IT support. Her name is Radhika Pai, and she is a first-year Masters student in the A. James Clark School of Engineering’s Cybersecurity program. Prior to that, she worked for four years in India as an IT Applications Security Analyst with CommScope, based out of North Carolina. Radhika hopes her work here will help broaden the scope of her prior experience and current studies. She will be working along with Ron Yerby on support tickets submitted by department technical contacts, and will report to the ETS desk manager, Joe Robertson.
This change is the result of evaluation of both internal ETS data, as well as results from the annual Technology Use and Support Survey, sent out to College faculty and staff each fall. So in a very direct way, this data-driven decision was based on feedback from the same audience it will serve. Thank you to all who participated and helped reinforce what our internal data suggested.
Radhika will be able to generally support 20 additional hours per week to desktop support and related initiatives.
