Dr. Tirrell-Corbin Awarded 2020-21 Provost's Excellence Award for PTK Faculty

Dr. Christy Tirrell-Corbin received the Provost's Excellence Award for Professional Track Faculty in recognition of her outstanding contributions and accomplishments in research for 2020-21!

Dr. Tirrell-Corbin is a Clinical Professor in the Human Development & Quantitative Methodology department, a leader in the Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education undergraduate program, and the Executive Director of the Center for Early Childhood Education and Intervention (CECEI).

This year, Dr. Tirrell-Corbin has already co-authored two op-eds, one published in EdSurge and another published in The Hill, discussing her research on the impact COVID-19 has had on educators.

Current CECEI projects, on which she serves as the Principal Investigator, include "Continued implementation of Children Study Their World and development and implementation of Children Explore Their World", "Evaluation of the Governor’s Young Readers Program", and many more.
