In August 2019, Epson interactive projectors replaced SMARTBoards in all general purpose classrooms in the Benjamin building. In addition, dry-erase white boards have been placed around the classrooms for collaborative lessons.

The Epson interactive projectors provide instructors with the ability to manipulate the desktop computer similar to a large tablet with your finger or pen. In addition, the Epson interactive  boards provide the ability to annotate the board with digital markers, offering greater student engagement.

If you are interested in learning more about the features of this board, feel free to contact our Learning Technology Specialist, Rosalia K.  Reyes-Webb of ETS at rosalia5@umd.edu.
