The School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland and the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan invite you to the Big Ten Collaboration’s first-ever Democracy Summit, February 10-11. Faculty, students, and staff from Big Ten institutions, along with representatives of national civic organizations, policymakers, and community partners from across the nation, will come together in College Park, Maryland.
In 2021, the University of Maryland and the University of Michigan worked with policy schools across the conference to form the Big Ten Collaboration: Democracy in the 21st Century, and this summit will mark a new, deeper commitment from our universities to collaborate and strengthen our efforts to bolster democracy and civic engagement in America as we approach our nation's 250th birthday.
The summit will feature a full schedule of panels and speakers discussing the ongoing successes and challenges our institutions have had in this work.
