Community Mental Health Awareness Night

The UMD College of Education's COE-CARES Psychological Center and the College Park Community Foundation are hosting a Community Mental Health Awareness Night for College Park on Wednesday, April 3rd starting at 5:30pm. The event will include a keynote speech from our very own Dr. Mary Ann Hoffman. Other event activities include a mindfulness experiential activity, tabling event with mental health providers in the area, snacks, raffles, and give-aways. We are also collecting donations for Community Crisis Services, Inc., and will be setting up a donation box at the front office in Benjamin, as well as the day of the event. Items to be collected include storage bins, combination locks, fleece blankets, twin sheets, pillow cases, towels, wash cloths, feminine hygiene products, socks, underwear, deodorant, shower shoes, laundry detergent, fabric softener, gift cards, smart trip cards, dryer sheers, Lysol, latex gloves, hand sanitizer, cleaning products, car seats, and pack and play pins.
