The Center for Science and Technology in Education (CSTE) will be hosting a Cookies and Conversation event with Tom Ball who works in CS education for Microsoft Research Labs. Dr. Ball works in the area of programming languages and software engineering in Microsoft Research Lab in Redmond, Washington. He has been working for the past few years on Microsoft MakeCode, a new platform for bringing physical computing to CS education, based on experience with the BBC micro:bit. Open to everyone.
