2026 Worlds
We're so excited to announce that the 2026 World KidWind Challenge will be at the UW Madison campus in Wisconsin - woohoo! Thank you to Allison who is helping us on the ground there, and Google for the funds that are helping make it happen.
If you have any leads to any other potential sponsors, please let us know! We are still only about 1/3 of the way to our fundraising goals. We have a flyer attached below with more details :)
KidWind Fellows Return!
We're excited to be able to continue the KidWind Fellows program for the second year! Please spread the word that these incredible KW alumni will be available for Virtual Visits throughout Challenge season - we'll share the request link when it's live :)
If you know any college students who participated in KW, or HS coaches who might, please feel free to share the KW Fellow application link! We're able to accept a few more students into this year's cohort.
Art Challenge - Submissions Open!
We're hosting the third annual KidWind Art Challenge! This year students from K-12th grade are invited to submit artwork about the theme "Solar POWERED". Check out the details here!

Simulation Challenge - Registration Open!
Registration for the 2026 Sim Challenge is open now. Register up to 25 students for $25 and check out WhiteBox Learning's simulation software. Learn more here!

2026 REcharge Academy - Applications Open!
This year's REcharge Academy will return to Macalester College in Saint Paul, MN, July 12th-17th, 2026. Applications are open now through March 1st, 2026.
