Assessment Office
Assessment Office
The Assessment Office advances assessment, accreditation, continuous improvement, and evidence-informed decision-making across the College of Education. We collaborate with faculty, staff, academic programs, College leadership, university offices, and external partners. Through these partnerships, we evaluate program quality, demonstrate accountability, and strengthen both student learning and professional preparation.
Our Work
Assessment and Continuous Improvement
Support programs in developing meaningful assessment processes, examining evidence of student learning and program effectiveness, then using findings to guide improvement.
Accreditation and Accountability
Coordinate accreditation activities and institutional, state, federal, and national reporting associated with educator preparation and other College programs.
Data and Evidence
Collect, maintain, analyze, and communicate data at the program and College levels to support accreditation, academic planning, program review, research, and decision-making.
Assessment Systems and Resources
Lead the implementation and administration of assessment-management systems. Provide guidance, training, and resources to faculty, staff, students, and program administrators.
Educator Preparation and Partnerships
Strengthen educator preparation through collaboration with academic programs, school-system partners, and College initiatives. Support candidate assessment, professional learning, P–12 partnerships, and initiatives that connect the College with schools and communities.
