Quantitative Methodology: Measurement and Statistics, Ph.D.: Program Admissions

The Quantitative Methodology: Measurement and Statistics Ph.D. program is designed to qualify individuals to teach courses at the university level in applied measurement, statistics, and evaluation, to provide leadership in the conduct of research studies, and to serve as applied statistics, measurement, or evaluation specialists in school systems, industry and government.

The Graduate School Application portal, gradapply.umd.edu, can be used to apply to UMD and review the status of your application. Graduate faculty in the Academic Department you applied to will review your completed application for graduate admission.

Students are required to submit all required documents before submitting their application: CV and Purpose Statement, (3) recommendation letters, transcripts, writing sample, GRE scores and TOEFL/IELTS/PTE for international graduate students.
