Monerah Al-Dubayan, M.S., is a doctoral student in the Special Education program at the University of Maryland. She received her master’s degree in special education from Johns Hopkins University and her bachelor’s degree in special and elementary education from Purdue University. Her research interests include autism spectrum disorder, communication, challenging behaviors, culturally adapted interventions, and applied behavior analysis. As she engages in the world of educational research, Monerah is eager to continue learning and teaching others to provide children with disabilities and their families the support and guidance they need to reach their full potential.
