Monerah Al-Dubayan, M.S., is a doctoral candidate in the Special Education program at the University of Maryland. Her research focuses on autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and developmental disabilities, communication, challenging behavior, parent-implemented interventions, culturally adapted practices, and applied behavior analysis. Through her work, she hopes to empower caregivers and actively involve them in interventions that strengthen communication, enhance family understanding, and support children with disabilities to reach their full potential.
