Learning Technology Specialist

Rosalia is the Learning Technology Specialist for the College of Education and is a member of the Educational Technology Services - ETS team.  She is responsible for faculty training and direct assistance with integrating technology for teaching and learning. Faculty training and assistance include the following tools:

Learning Management System (Canvas), Distance Education, Video conferencing (Zoom and Google Meet), Classroom Monitoring Tool (LAN School), Classroom Polling (Clickers), and Lecture Capturing (Panopto).  In addition, Rosalia serves as an in-house consultant to faculty with recommendations and assistance with online instructional design and evaluation of online resources.

Rosalia received her B.S degree from Penn State University and her EdM degree from Temple University. She has over 25 years of experience in the field of education. Earlier in her career, Rosalia taught high school math and science in the Philadelphia public schools. During the mid-1990s, Rosalia became fascinated with integrating technology in the classroom and how technology assists students in learning and provides accessibility to many. She has trained numerous faculty on delivering online courses in higher education.  She also serves on college and campus committees concerned with learning technology issues.
