Andrew Brantlinger, associate professor of mathematics education, explains the difficulties that come with proposing a math framework with real-world relevance.
“Problem-based structure has never been widely adopted in the United States. The further you go up [the grade levels], the less likely it's going to happen,” said Brantlinger.
