Maryland Matters | Election Officials Warn of Bad Actors and Trickery, But It’s Not All Gloom and Doom

Professor Doug Lombardi was featured in a Maryland Matters article, where he discussed the spread of misinformation ahead of Election Day.  Joining University of Maryland experts, including those at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism, Lombardi explained that combating misinformation requires empowering individuals to think critically, make informed decisions and overcome confirmation bias.
