Clinical Professor Christy Tirrell-Corbin spoke with the Baltimore Banner about the fundamental importance of pre-K, as Maryland looks to expand access to early education. Tirrell-Corbin explains that pre-k prepares children not just for school, but for life. “When they have rich learning experiences,” she says, “ they love to investigate, they love to ask questions, and they love to learn about their world, which sets a real foundation for later.”
