ETS Brownbag: Turning Classroom Moments into Digital Magic

Online via Zoom

ETS MARCH 2026 Brown bag Discussion/Demonstration
"Turning Classroom Moments into Digital Magic"

Using Zoom Whiteboard

This brownbag will focus on how to create and use Zoom Whiteboards in your Classroom Synchronously and Asynchronously

It’s time to upgrade your classroom toolkit. Zoom Whiteboards—the secret sauce for keeping students engaged, whether they are sitting in the front row or tuning in from a coffee shop.

This is how we will spend our hour:

  1. The "Magic" Reveal: A quick tour of the  Zoom Whiteboard features
  2. Live vs. Later: Strategies for using boards synchronously (live brainstorming) and Asynchronously (homework help and group projects).
  3. Hands-On Demonstration: This is the best part! You will jump onto a live board in real-time.
  4. The "Wow" Factor-Obtaining a Digital Artifact: Learn how to export and share your boards so students actually refer back to them in Canvas.

Why attend?
Because "engagement" shouldn't just be a buzzword—it should be fun..

This workshop/demonstration is open to COE faculty, staff, and graduate assistants.
