The Student Ambassador Program provides students with an opportunity to represent the College of Education while developing valuable leadership, communication, and professional skills. Student Ambassadors serve as enthusiastic and knowledgeable representatives who support recruitment, outreach, and community engagement efforts throughout the academic year.
As ambassadors, students welcome prospective and admitted students and their families, share their experiences as College of Education students, assist with campus visits and special events, and help foster a welcoming and inclusive community. Ambassadors collaborate with faculty, staff, and fellow students to promote the college's programs, resources, and student success initiatives. They also play an essential role in helping prospective students discover the opportunities available within the College of Education.
If you are a current UMD College of Education student and are interested in serving as a Student Ambassador during the 2026-2027 academic year, please submit an application by 5pm on Monday, August 3.
