Maryland KidWind

Student with windmill

Maryland KidWind is a regional affiliate of KidWind.org. KidWind offers innovative, open access renewable energy curriculum for K12 students and educators, as well as regional and national professional development opportunities for adults who "coach" student teams in KidWind Challenges. KidWind Challenges are exciting design and build competitions geared toward students in grades 4-12. These events occur regionally during winter.

Our Maryland Regional KidWind Challenge is held on campus at the University of Maryland College Park in February. Students can qualify for KidWind World Competitions through their participation in our Maryland Regional KidWind Challenge events. Register students for our upcoming February 15, 2025 Maryland Regional KidWind Challenge here
