Research Assistant for Pre-k Curriculum Evaluation

The Center for Early Childhood Education and Intervention at the University of Maryland College Park (UMD), is seeking part-time, hourly research assistants (RAs) to work on a project to evaluate the efficacy of the Children Study Their World (CSW) pre-k curriculum. The RA duties for this position are primarily related to data collection for the evaluation of the curriculum. Although the project is housed at UMD, College Park, data collection occurs in Head Start classrooms in and around Baltimore City and County. Pre-k Curriculum Project Assistant

CECEI seeks a detail-oriented Project Assistant in support of a curriculum for four year olds called Children Study Their World. Student Research Assistants

All Student RAs will enroll in an approved independent study or similar course and their hours in the Center will count toward course credits. Typically, 10 RA hours per week equals 3 course credit hours. Student RAs must cover the cost of tuition for this course.

Graduate Technology Research Assistant

CECEI is seeking a Research Assistant who will primarily assist with an app project and website improvement and maintenance. This position may also assist with other technology-related tasks. RAs will be expected to work at the CECEI approximately 10 hours per week. Please note that priority will be given to applicants who are available/interested in working for two consecutive semesters. Communications Assistant/General

CECEI is seeking Undergraduate or Graduate Research Assistants who will assist with producing blog and social media content and other communications-related tasks, contribute to event planning, and provide other project support as needed within CECEI. CECEI seeks Undergraduate and Graduate Research Assistants to assist with several projects, such as continued development and rollout of an early childhood curriculum, development of a smartphone app for families of children receiving this curriculum, implementation of special education services in early childhood, and promoting family engagement in young children’s learning. Undergraduate Research Assistants will be expected to work at CECEI approximately 10 hours per week.
