Early Childhood Curriculum Writer

CECEI is currently developing a three-year-old, project-based, early childhood curriculum for implementation in Maryland and potentially beyond. This position will be part of the content development team. They will be responsible for writing and editing lesson plans within designated areas, as well as recommending manipulatives and experiences for learning centers. This work may be completed remotely, on the UMD campus or a combination of the two. The Early Childhood Curriculum Writer will be required to attend regular (either virtual or in-person) team meetings. This opportunity is a full-time, one-year contract appointment beginning June 2020 (length of work has potential to be extended). Student Research Assistants

All Student RAs will enroll in an approved independent study or similar course and their hours in the Center will count toward course credits. Typically, 10 RA hours per week equals 3 course credit hours. Student RAs must cover the cost of tuition for this course.

Communications Assistant/General

CECEI is seeking Undergraduate or Graduate Research Assistants who will assist with producing blog and social media content and other communications-related tasks, contribute to event planning, and provide other project support as needed within CECEI. RAs will be expected to work at the CECEI approximately 10 hours per week. Please note that priority will be given to applicants who are available/interested in working for two consecutive semesters. General/Other

CECEI seeks Undergraduate and Graduate Research Assistants to assist with several projects, such as the implementation of a Trauma Sensitive Pedagogy (TSP) curriculum and development and implementation of preschool curricula for 3 and 4 year olds, as well as an external evaluation of fully inclusive learning experiences for young children with disabilities. General Research Assistants will be expected to work at CECEI approximately 10 hours per week. Graduate Technology Research Assistant
