Jessica Sishi Fei is a doctoral student in the Department of Human Development and Quantitative Methodology at the University of Maryland, College Park. She earned her M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Hong Kong in 2025. Her research examines how readers move from identifying individual words to constructing coherent representations of text, using meta-analytic, experimental, and computational methods.
