On July of 2026 Dr. Taboada Barber and Grad student Yuanke Pan assisted to the Thirty-Third Annual Conference of the Society for the Scientific Study of Reading that took place in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Dr. Taboada presented her work on "Revisiting reader typologies: The role of executive functions in bilingual reading development" while Ms. Yuanke Pan presented her work on "Reading fluency as a bridge: Linking reading engagement and comprehension in bilingual learners"
On May of 2026 Sonia Aguilar and Alexandra Lopez Rodriguez joined the Oyster Adams family for a poetry evening at their Festival de Poesía. Ever since collaborating on the CLIMB project, the READ lab and Oyster Adams School have maintained a strong, cooperative friendship.
