Dana Grosser-Clarkson Ph.D. ’16, associate clinical professor (TLPL), was honored with the Outstanding College Educator Award by the Maryland Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
Daniel Chazan, professor in the College of Education, was named one of nine 2023-24 Distinguished Scholar-Teachers on June 6. The Distinguished Scholar-Teacher Program honors University of Maryland faculty who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments as both scholars and teachers, thereby serving as models of excellence for the faculty of a top research university.
Frances Henderson, a doctoral student in the Center for Math Ed, TLPL was awarded an American Educator Panels Scholarship, from Rand Corporation. Her project will analyze the role of principals' STEM backgrounds in high school students' STEM achievement.
