Michaela Brooks, through the University of Maryland, is looking for participants to be a part of a literacy study. The goal of the study is to understand how children and adults learn connections between spelling and sounds. Participants should be children from 6.5 to 7.5 years of age or adults aged 18 to 35 years old, and must be Native English speakers with no reported developmental or intellectual disabilities. If you are interested, please take the eligibility screener using the link: https://umdsurvey.umd.edu/jfe/form/SV_8dE5kHLPibbXNKS. If eligible, complete consent & demographic questions. All adults (including parents/guardians) will receive a $10 Tango gift card, and children will receive a small prize after the in-person session.
